Post Office Recruitment : Multi Tasking Staff (MTS)



Position: Multi Tasking Staff (MTS)

Eligibility: 10th

Location: Kerala

Last Date: 20-Dec

Qualification/Educational Criteria : Candidates who wish to apply for this post must posess the following skill and criteria : Qualified 10th (SSC) level or equivalent qualification from any recognized Board / College.

No of Post : 15

Age Limit(in yrs) : Interested candidates who are appearing for this post should have the age of 18 to 27 years.

Pay Scale/Salary(in Rs.) : Selected candidates would be eligible to get the pay scale of around Rs.5,200 to 20,200 + Grand Pay Rs.1,800/- Per Month.

Application Fees :

Candidates have to pay application fees of Rs.100/- for all categories of candidates who have registered. Rs.400/- for General  / OBC category candidates. No fees for for SC / ST category candidates.

Mode of Selection : Selection will be basis of Aptitude Test a merit list of qualified candidate should  be prepared in each Postal / RMS Division /Administrative Unit separately.

How To Apply
Candidates can apply their prescribed application form along with 02 attested /self attested Passport size photographs (01 firmly affixed on the application form & 01 to be attached -for Hall Permit Original Receipt granted by the Post office, for payment of Application Fee / Examination Fee-affixed/ pasted at the top of the application form, On self-addressed envelope of size 10cm x 23 cm affixed with postage stamps for Rs.22/- send by Registered Post or Speed Post to relevant Divisions / Units as per Notification. Last date to receipt application on or before 20th December 2014.

About Post Office 
The Department of Posts, trading as India Post, is a govt.-operated postal system in India; it is generally referred to within India as "the post office". As of 31/03/2011, the Indian Postal Service had 154,866 post offices, of which 139,040 (89.78 %) were in rural areas and 15,826 (10.22 %) in urban areas. It had 25,464 departmental Post Offices and 129,402 Extra-Departmental Branch Post Offices. At the time of independence, there were 23,344 post offices, primarily in urban areas. The postal service is under the Department of Posts, which is part of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology of the Govt. of India.
